SHORT BIO

Jiachen Yang is a staff researcher at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where he works on machine learning for applied science. He completed his PhD in Machine Learning at the Georgia Institute of Technology, supervised by Prof. Hongyuan Zha and Prof. Tuo Zhao, where he focused on cooperation in multi-agent reinforcement learning. He received his MS in CS at Georgia Tech in 2017 and his BS in EECS from UC Berkeley in 2014.
