SHORT BIO
Yong is a second-year PhD student at Brown University. He is primarily interested in making NLP systems more accessible by working on multilingual NLP systems and deep learning with limited data. He led the multilingual modeling group at BigScience in studying language adaptation and recently formed a research group working on NLP systems for Southeast Asian languages.
