SHORT BIO
Nicholas Meade is a PhD student at McGill University and Mila supervised by Siva Reddy. He previously completed his undergraduate degree at Dalhousie University where he studied methods for controllable neural-based music generation. His current research focuses on analyzing and mitigating social biases and toxicity in NLP with a particular focus on dialogue systems. He has previously interned at Amazon Alexa AI where he worked on improving dialogue system safety.
