SHORT BIO
Mobashir Sadat is a computer science PhD candidate at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) under the supervision of Professor Cornelia Caragea. His research interests lie in the areas of natural language processing, machine learning and information retrieval. Specifically, he is interested in hallucination detection, natural language inference, semi-supervised learning and text summarization. He achieved his Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Software Engineering from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Recently, he completed a research internship at Bosch Research North America, where he worked on hallucination detection in domain-specific question-answering.
