SHORT BIO
Ramiro currently works at Naval Information Warfare Center-Pacific (NIWC-PAC) in the Narrowband SATCOM Branch. He joined NIWC-PAC in 2019 and previously, he served as a communications engineer at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division providing systems engineering to DoD test and training ranges as well as supporting the T&E community. His work includes engineering design and test performance parameters of RF hardware over Naval training ranges, including MDA’s Flight Test Communications SATCOM mission support, and OSD's electromagnetic spectrum usage and relocation studies. Ramiro graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2016 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with the University's highest honors. He is pursuing a M.S. in Applied Physics with Photonics Concentration from Johns Hopkins University. Currently, he is the Principal Investigator (PI) for research on quantum machine learning applications for Naval applications.
