Mariana Avelino is a Master's student in Media Informatics at the Technical University of Berlin. She is Brazilian by nationality but a world citizen at heart, having lived in nine different countries. Since an early age she has been interested in language and liguistics due to her travels, and this passion led her to create a test suite for evaluating translations from Portuguese into English as part of her studies.
