SHORT BIO
Dr. Michael De Lucia is a computer scientist in the Network Science Division at the DEVCOM Army Research Laboratory (ARL). He graduated from the University of Delaware with a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering focusing on research in machine learning detection of encrypted malicious activities and innovating Adversarial Machine Learning (AML) attacks and defenses within a network security context. He currently, leads research with a focus on AML and Machine Learning within a network security context. Dr. De Lucia has over 15 years of experience working in cyber security within the Department of the Army and graduated with a bachelors in Information Technology and Masters in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Before working at ARL, Dr. De Lucia performed cyber security research and development at the DEVCOM C5ISR Center.
