Matteo Paonni is a team leader within the Directorate for Space, Security and Migration at Joint Research Centre of the European Commission in Ispra, Italy. Under his position Matteo coordinates technical and policy support on the EU Satellite Navigation Programmes to DG DEFIS and the EU Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA). Matteo’s main focus is on Galileo signals design and performance, RF compatibility and security. From 2007 to 2013 he was a research associate at the Institute of Space Technology and Space Applications at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich.
