SHORT BIO

Ping-Yi Hsieh received his M.S. degree in electronic engineering from National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 2017. Between 2018 and 2020, he worked as an integration engineer at Taiwan Semiconductor Research Institute (TSRI). Since 2021, He joined KU Leuven and imec in Belgium as a PhD researcher. His research interests include the reliability of silicon photonic devices and circuits, especially focusing on monolithically integrated lasers and photodetectors.
