SHORT BIO
Dr. Wang received his B.S. degree and M.S. degree in Computer Science from Peking University in 1983 and 1986, respectively, and his PhD degree from Indiana University, Bloomington, in Computer Science and Cognitive Science in 1995. From 1996 to 2001 he worked in industry doing artificial intelligence application. Since Fall 2001, he has been a faculty member of Temple University. His research is in artificial intelligence and cognitive science, especially on general theory of intelligence, formal models of rationality, reasoning under uncertainty, learning and adaptation, knowledge representation, and real-time decision making. Dr. Wang is the Chief Executive Editor of the Journal of Artificial General Intelligence and the Vice Chair of the Artificial General Intelligence Society.
