SHORT BIO
Uri received his B.Sc. in Mathematics and Physics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He then pursued a physics Ph.D. at Yale University, working with Professors Michel Devoret and Steven Girvin on exploring artificial atoms accessible using superconducting circuits. Uri is currently a John Harvard distinguished science fellow at Harvard University, working with Professor Amir Yacoby on the use of quantum information techniques to study condensed matter properties. In early 2022, Uri will found his research group 'qubits for materials' at the Max Planck Institute in Dresden, Germany.
