Jordan Katine is a senior director at WD research, where his group is primarily focused on studying emerging non-volatile memories. He has previously worked at HGST and IBM, where he worked on magnetic recording and other phenomena in nanoscale magnetic devices. He received his Ph.D. in physics from Harvard University and did his post-doctoral research in Bob Buhrman's group at Cornell. Jordan is an IEEE fellow and a fellow in the American Physical Society.
