SHORT BIO

Dr. Tingting Zhang is an Assistant Professor at Rosen College of Hospitality Management, University of Central Florida. Dr. Zhang received her Ph.D. degree and Master’s degree in Hospitality Management from the Ohio State University. Dr. Zhang holds an interest in studying human trafficking issues in the tourism and hospitality sectors, though her primary research focus is on customer engagement with technology innovations in the hospitality and tourism industries. Her research articles are published in top-rated journals (e.g. TM, IJHM, IJCHM) and her research has been cited over 2,000 times by academic scholars worldwide. Dr. Zhang has served as Principal Investigator for eight funded projects in the past few years. Dr. Zhang’s research has won multiple prestigious research awards from both peer-reviewed journals and academic conferences. She is currently serving as the associate editor for the Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Technology (SSCI; Impact Factor = 2.796) and as an editorial board member for multiple journals and academic conferences.
