Dr. Rose Nyambura is a science teacher educator with over 25 years teaching experience both in secondary/high schools and higher education institutions. Research interests are in science education and gender based studies. Actively involved in mentoring young girls and women to venture into science oriented careers and self employment. As a mother to young adults, I have come to realize that young men in Kenya are lagging behind girls their age and quite a sizeable number are engaging in drugs, suicide and homicides. As such I have developed passion in promoting boys' education and empowerment so that the two genders can move together in this 21st century where technology, science and development need all to participate.
