Lauriane Aufrant is the lead NLP researcher of Inria Rocquencourt's applied research unit since 2021, after having defended her PhD at LIMSI-CNRS on cross-lingual transfer for low-resourced dependency parsing in 2018, then spent several years as an AI expert in a government agency. She is also an expert in multiple working groups and international committees for AI standardization, and project leader for CEN-CENELEC JTC 21's standardization project on NLP.
