SHORT BIO

Maya Varma is a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at Stanford University, and her research focuses on applications of artificial intelligence techniques to global healthcare challenges. Previously, she obtained a bachelor's degree in computer science from Stanford, graduating with honors and distinction. Maya is a Knight-Hennessy Scholar, a National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellow, and a Barry M. Goldwater Scholar.
