Fonna Forman (PhD Chicago) is a professor of Political Science at UC San Diego, and Founding Director of the UCSD Center on Global Justice, an ORU dedicated to community-based solutions to poverty and environmental crisis, with a focus on the US-Mexico border. She served as Vice-Chair of the 2105 UC Bending the Curve report on climate solutions, and has been teaching the Bending the Curve course since 2017. In Fall 2021 she was appointed Co-Chair of the UC President's Global Cliamte Leadership Council.
