## Welcome to ISHEN 2021!
[ISHEN 2021](https://underline.io/events/189/main-stage) will be a virtual event on 6, 7 and 8th October. 

The first day will focus on state of the art in basic research, diagnosis and treatment of HE. The second will feature young investigators’ work in the same areas. The third day will consider what the field needs for future developments and progress, including the prestigious Andres Blei lecture and the Juan Córdoba Young Investigator Award.

We will not let the pandemic deter us from our social activities. These will be part of the celebrations for the 800-year anniversary of Padova University, and will include a virtual tour of the Great Hall, Galileo’s Chair and the world’s first Anatomical Theatre, dated 1594.

So, albeit remotely and to borrow from Shakespeare, it is a great honour and real pleasure to welcome you to “fair Padua, nursery of arts”. And sciences!
