SHORT BIO
A postdoctoral researcher at DIALOGOS center for the Enhancement of Dialogic Pedagogy and Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem. I study the integration of digital technologies and social media into civic discussions and learning processes in civil society and social movements. As part of my research I accompany processes of training and learning in third sector bodies in Israel including Shitufim, Shatil, and the regional climate conferences 2021. I received my PhD from the Graduate Program in Science, Technology, and Society at Bar-Ilan University in June 2019. My doctoral dissertation examined how Israelis of Ethiopian descent used Facebook and other online platforms as part of their protests against police brutality in 2015-2016. Two academic articles were published based on this research. I teach courses on digital culture, research and methodology in digital environments.
