SHORT BIO
I am a lecturer at the School of Ocean Sciences, Bangor University. I completed my PhD at the University of Aberdeen with Beth Scott, and my MRes at Plymouth University with Steve Votier. I am interested in the environmental and behavioural factors governing the distribution of marine mammals and seabirds. This research spans several scales - from minute and patch resolution along coastlines, to decadal and basin resolution in shelf-seas . Across these scales however, I am keen to combine information on physical processes and prey avaliability to identify casual rather than associative links between animals and the marine environment.
