SHORT BIO
Katta has a PhD in Marine Biology and has worked on a number of seabird species around the world, mainly focussing on identifying important foraging areas. After being a postdoc at the University of Cape Town, she is now Research Manager at SANCCOB and leads the long-term marking of African penguins and is involved in a number of studies dealing with threats to several endangered seabird species in Southern Africa.
