SHORT BIO
Emiliano Lorini is Senior Scientist (Directeur de Recherche) and co-head of the LILaC team (Logic, Interaction, Language and Computation) at the Institut de Recherche en Informatique de Toulouse (IRIT), Université Paul Sabatier. He is member of the Institute for Advanced Study in Toulouse (IAST). He has mainly worked in the area of artificial intelligence (AI). The following are his main research topics: - logics for autonomous agents and multi-agent systems, - formal models of cognitive attitudes and emotions, - cognitive and epistemic planning, - machine ethics, - epistemic game theory and multi-agent learning, - logic-based methods for explainable AI.
