Dr. rer. nat. Stamatia Rizou holds a Diploma from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at National Technical University of Athens (2007) and a PhD from the University of Stuttgart in the field of distributed systems (2013). Since 2012, she works as research associate at the European Projects Department of Singular Logic. Her research interests lie in the areas of Cloud computing, Internet of Things and its applications (e.g., Smart Energy systems, Smart Water Management). She is the technical coordinator of the H2020 Water4Cities and 5G-MEDIA projects, while she has been also actively involved in other EU projects in the past (I-DONT-FALL, Broker@Cloud). She has also participated in MSCA projects both as research fellow (FP7-ITN-RELATE, FP7-IAPP-KINOPTIM) and as industrial supervisor within the frame of H2020-MSCA-EID-SENECA and H2020-MSCA-EID-IoT4Win projects. Finally, Stamatia has been also acting as an expert evaluator in H2020 Programme.
