SHORT BIO
Dr. Alexandre Guet-McCreight is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Krembil Centre for Neuroinformatics, Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, where he is a member of Dr. Etay Hay’s Brain Circuits Lab. As part of the Hay Lab team, he generates biophysically detailed models of human neurons, which he uses to construct human cortical circuit models. These human circuit models are then used for testing antidepressant pharmacology in silico, as well as for gaging the effects of age-associated neuronal changes on cortical sensory processing.
