Marco Bonizzato is an IVADO and TransMedTech postdoctoral fellow at the department of neurosciences, Université de Montréal. He received a PhD in electrical engineering from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland. His research focus is in neurotechnology and optimization of brain-machine interfaces and neurostimulation, especially applied to restore mobility after spinal cord injury. He is co-founder of a precision neurostimulation medicine start-up, NeuralDrive.
