SHORT BIO
Wei-Ning is a research scientist at Facebook AI Research (FAIR). He earned his PhD in electrical engineering and computer science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2020. Wei-Ning’s research focuses on representation learning, structured generative modeling, and self-supervised learning for speech through leveraging varieties of weak supervision and different modalities. He is passionate about building technologies applicable to both written and unwritten languages, and exploring more sources for learning speech.
