SHORT BIO
Hey! I am Laura Cabello, a second-year PhD student at CoAStaL, the Natural Language Processing group led by Anders Søgaard at the University of Copenhagen. I am particularly interested in the social implications of large scale language models. NLP is rapidly expanding across industries and it is our responsibility to design safe and equitable models to deploy them in practice. Currently, I am digging deeper into analyzing social bias and fairness in language and language-and-vision models. Lately I am also interested in deployment of robust and scalable models.
