SHORT BIO

Sarah Demers is a Professor of Physics at Yale University, and a particle physicists whose research is on the ATLAS Experiment at CERN's Large Hadron Collider and the Mu2e Experiment at Fermilab. She has been collaborating with co-presenter Emily Coates, a Professor in the Theater and Performance Studies Department and Yale's school of Drama for a decade. Coates and Demers have co-taught the course "Physics of Dance" together four times, and translated the curriculum into the book "Physics and Dance".
