SHORT BIO
He is a postdoctoral researcher at Tohoku University. He received Ph.D. in information science from Tohoku University in 2022. His research interest lies in the cognitive plausibility of natural language processing (NLP) models. His recent work has especially focused on whether popular engineering techniques in NLP (e.g., scaling, architecture change) are also plausible in the context of pursuing cognitively, psycholinguistically plausible models. He is also a co-founder of Langsmith Inc., where he develops NLP-powered writing support systems.
