SHORT BIO
Dr. Bernard is recognized internationally as an expert in childhood stroke, founding a child neurology multidisciplinary stroke clinical at Children’s Hospital Colorado and the Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center at the University of Colorado in 2007 that now serves patients across the Rocky Mountain Region. He also has an international reputation as a clinical and research leader in childhood stroke, serving as Vice Chair of the International Pediatric Stroke Study, and as a member of the International Alliance for Pediatric Stroke Medical Advisory Board. He is currently Interim Co-Chair of the Section of Child Neurology at the University of Colorado.
