SHORT BIO

Curriculum Vitae 2021: PhD Student, MPI for Biological Cybernetics 2019-2020: Research Assistant, MPI for Biological Cybernetics 2018-2019: Data Scientist, Intrexon Corporation (now Precigen Inc.) 2015-2018: MA in Cognitive Science and Computer Science, Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, Hungary 2012-2015: BA in Psychology, Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania

Main Focus I've been investigating the question of how individuals extract patterns from noisy, high-order sequences that underlie motor skills or grammar. Currently, I'm planning to study how agents discover and make use of reinforced action sequences and frequent state sequences in order to leverage complex structures, like chunks and hierarchies, arising from their environment, subjective goals, tasks, and rewards.
