SHORT BIO
Mahi is a PhD Candidate in Cognitive Science at Indiana University working with Dr. Peter Todd. She has two broad research interests: (1) How do humans process information when making decisions given limited cognitive capacities? (2) How do search strategies dynamically interact with the distribution of resources (e.g., information, food)? In the pursuit of these research interests, Mahi uses a wide range of methods ranging from Bayesian statistics, agent-based modelling, evolutionary algorithms, and dynamical systems theory.
