SHORT BIO
I received my undergraduate degrees in psychology and philosophy from Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, and my PhD in psychology from UC Berkeley. I am now a research scientist at Google DeepMind. My dissertation work focused on creating computational models of human cognitive processes, focusing on Reinforcement Learning and Bayesian inference, on model fitting, on developmental changes in learning and decision making, and in hierarchically-structured mental representations.
