SHORT BIO

I am a developmental psychologist interested in children's and adults' understanding of complicated societal issues. For example, how do they infer the causes of persistent societal problems, such as racial and gender inequality? How do they judge whether a social policy intervention worked or not? What do they think causes public and scientific disagreements about societal problems? Moreover, what are the developmental origins of these inferential processes?
