SHORT BIO
Ebenezer Joseph is India’s first Fide trainer and Candidate Master of the World Chess Federation. He has participated in several International Chess Championship abroad and he has beaten the former World Chess Champion Vishwanath Anand three times in the National Championships. He represented India in the World Youth Chess Championship in Maringa, Brazil, 1991. Founder of Emmanuel Chess Centre, a premier chess training institute in India. He has trained more than 7000 children, trained and certificated over 150 chess trainers across India in the last 25 years. As a Principal Investigator of Cognitive Science Research Initiative Project of the Department of Science and Technology, he is currently involved in Cognitive Sciences Research funded by Government of India.
