SHORT BIO
I am a Ph.D. student in Informatics and Cognitive Science at Indiana University. I am currently working with Professor Justin Wood. My research interest lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence, developmental psychology and cognitive science. My research goal is to understand the origins and basis of intelligence. How do newborn organisms learn to perceive the world? What are the computational principles and learning algorithms in newborn brains? I attempt to address these problems by building autonomous artificial agents and comparing their learning abilities with newborn animals.
