SHORT BIO
Stephen Chrisomalis is Professor of Anthropology and Linguistics at Wayne State University. He is the author of Numerical Notation: A Comparative History (2010) and Reckonings: Numerals, Cognition, and History (2020). His research interests include numeral systems, cross-cultural research, cognitive linguistics, and literacy and numeracy.
