SHORT BIO
I am a third year graduate student at the University of California, San Diego interested in early learning and cognitive development. Currently, my work focuses on children's recognition of abstract information, such as causal strucure, and how recognition of causal structure may facilitate learning during childhood. I am also interested in how different features of the learning environment support learning, such as visual elements of design, prompts to predict or explain, and how children's expectations of information influences persistence.
