Hi! My name is Anqi Wang. I grew up in a beautiful Southern city -- Hangzhou, China and did my undergrad degree in Psychology at Pacific Lutheran University. I am interested in mathematical and statistical models and how these models can facilitate our understanding of higher- level human cognition such as decision-making process, concept learning and causal inductions. I am particularly interested in how training affects learning processes, and how we can use computational models to further understand the decision-making processes when people are making generalizations to the various real-life situations. I am going to graduate school at Vanderbilt University this fall to increase my working knowledge in computational and statistical models. My aspiration is to become a researcher working in institutions and conduct ongoing research.
