SHORT BIO
Qibin Zhao received a Ph.D. degree in computer science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China in 2009. He is currently a team leader at RIKEN Center for Advanced Intelligence Project (AIP). His research interests include machine learning, tensor factorization, and tensor networks. He has (co-)authored more than 200 publications and two monographs on tensor networks for dimensionality reduction and large-scale optimization (2016, 2017). He serves as Area Chair for NeurIPS, ICML, and ACML.
