SHORT BIO

I am Weijia Xu, a 4th year PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Maryland, College Park. I work with my advisor Marine Carpuat and other members of the CLIP lab. My research interests are in natural language processing and machine learning. My current research focus is on improving machine translation for low-resource languages and efficient data utilization via semi-supervised learning.
