SHORT BIO
Devendra Singh Sachan is a Ph.D. student in the School of Computer Science, McGill University, and a member of the Mila - Quebec AI Institute. He received his Master’ degree from Language Technologies Institute, CMU, and bachelor’s degree from IIT Guwahati. His research interests are in the intersection of natural language processing and machine learning covering a broad range of topics including information retrieval, question answering, machine translation, information extraction, and NLP systems. His research has been published in the ACL and NeurIPS conferences and has been recognized with the best demo paper nomination in ACL 2019. He has also spent time with the research labs of DeepMind, Meta-FAIR, Amazon AWS, and Nvidia.
