Erwin Reisner received his PhD degree from the University of Vienna (Austria), followed by postdoctoral work at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA) and the University of Oxford (UK). He is currently Professor of Energy and Sustainability at the University of Cambridge and a Fellow of St. John’s College (UK). His laboratory explores the interface of chemical biology, synthetic chemistry, materials science, and engineering relevant to the development of solar-driven processes for the sustainable synthesis of fuels and chemicals.
