Vincent Tan is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National University of Singapore. His research interests are in Fiber Reinforced Composites and Computational Mechanics. Dr Tan’s research is funded by a mix of industrial and research agency grants both locally and internationally. He sits on the editorial boards of several international journals, including Composites Part B and Mechanics of Materials. He serves on the General Council of the International Association of Computational Mechanics and is a Vice President of the Association for Computational Mechanics (Singapore).
