SHORT BIO
Audrey Moores is a Professor at McGill University in the department of Chemistry, and was Canada Research Chair in Green Chemistry (2007-17). She is an Associate Editor for ACS Sustainable Chemistry and Engineering, and Associate Director for the McGill Facilities for Electron Microscopy Research (FEMR). Since 2018, she serves as a member of the advisory board of the Green Chemistry Institute (American Chemical Society) and was Academic Director on the Board of Directors of Green Center Canada for 3 years. She received a Discovery Accelerator Supplement Award in 2018 from NSERC, and is a member, and elected Council member of the College of the Royal Society of Canada. In 2021 she received the Canadian Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Award for Green Chemistry. Her upcoming research will focus on novel plasmonic catalysts, smart supports for photocatalysts and solid state methodologies for nanomaterials and biopolymer synthesis.
