Amy Khoo graduated with a B.Sc Honors (1st class) in Physics from the National University of Singapore in 2000 and obtained her Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California at Berkeley in 2006. She then joined the University of Texas at Austin as a postdoctoral associate before becoming a scientist at the Institute of High Performance Computing in 2010. Her research interests include electronic structure and magnetic properties of emerging materials.
