Lau Chit Siong Aaron is a Research Scientist at the Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE) at the Agency for Science Technology and Research, (ASTAR) Singapore. He was awarded the ASTAR graduate scholarship and completed his PhD as part of a research collaboration between the University of Oxford and IMRE. While at Oxford, he worked on the development of graphene nano-electrodes as a platform for studying quantum transport through single-molecular electronics. He is currently in the Quantum Technologies for Engineering department working on spin-valley qubits with 2D semiconductors.
