Yulin is an assistant principal engineer at the Advanced Materials Division of ST Engineering Advanced Materal Engineering, as well as a PhD student with Prof. John Wang's group at the National University of Singapore, Materials Science and Engineering. His current work involves new and emerging materials and chemistries for high energy batteries, with a focus on those with high potential for commercialisation, such as multivalent ions, oxygen cathode catalysts and other conversion electrodes. His past experience includes advanced micro- and nano-composites both as an engineer at ST Engineering, and as a student at Imperial College London.
