SHORT BIO
Pourya Aliasghari is a Ph.D. student at the University of Waterloo, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He received a B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Sharif University of Technology in 2019, and an M.A.Sc. degree in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo. He is currently working in the Social and Intelligent Robotics Research Laboratory (SIRRL) under the supervision of Prof. K. Dautenhahn, Prof. C. L. Nehaniv, and Prof. M. Ghafurian. His research interests include Human-Robot Interaction, Social Robotics, and more specifically, Robot Social Learning.
