Benjamin Diroll recieved his Ph. D. from the University of Pennsylvania in the research group of Christopher Murray and was then a Director's postdoctoral scholar at Argonne National Laboratory with Richard Schaller before becoming a staff member at the Center for Nanoscale Materials.
